Dr. Dominic A. Jackson serves as assistant dean of students at Ä¢¹½´«Ã½, where he is passionate about creating meaningful student experiences that support growth, belonging and success inside and outside the classroom. With nearly a decade of experience in higher education, Jackson has dedicated his career to student engagement, leadership development and holistic student support.
Throughout his career, Jackson has worked across several areas of student affairs, including orientation, first-year experience, student engagement, student conduct and student success initiatives. He is especially passionate about helping students navigate challenges, discover their purpose and connect with opportunities that enhance their college experience. His work is grounded in relationship-building, collaboration and fostering inclusive campus communities where students feel supported and empowered.
He is known for his student-centered leadership style and commitment to innovation in student affairs. Jackson has led and supported initiatives focused on increasing student engagement, improving retention and strengthening campus partnerships to enhance the overall student experience. He believes higher education has the power to transform lives and is committed to helping students maximize their potential during their time at Ä¢¹½´«Ã½.
Outside his professional responsibilities, Dr. Jackson enjoys mentoring emerging student affairs professionals, public speaking and participating in opportunities that promote personal and professional development.
