At Ä¢¹½´«Ã½, we believe cost should never stand in the way of a world-class education. That why we have launched the Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ Tuition-Free Guarantee, a bold initiative that covers 100 percent of undergraduate tuition for eligible students.
Beginning fall 2026, new first-year and transfer students from North and South Carolina with a family adjusted gross income (AGI) of $100,000 or less will have their tuition fully covered for up to four years (eight semesters). This award is provided entirely through scholarships and grants ” student and parent loans are not packaged or included as part of the guarantee.

The Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ Tuition-Free Guarantee covers 100 percent of tuition for new first-year and transfer students from North and South Carolina with a family income of $100K or less, beginning fall 2026.
Eligibility at a Glance
To qualify for the Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ Guarantee, students must:
- Be a first-year or transfer undergraduate admitted to Ä¢¹½´«Ã½.
- Be a resident of North or South Carolina.
- Have a family adjusted gross income (AGI) of $100,000 or less as determined by the FAFSA.
- Enroll full time in a traditional undergraduate program.
Not Eligible
- Current Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ students. Students currently enrolled at Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ continue to receive the financial aid awards they were promised at the time of enrollment. Returning students continue to benefit from our strong commitment to need-based financial aid.

- High School Scholars Academy students
- University Christian High School students enrolled at Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ as dual-enrolled students
