Robert Stallings is an associate professor of criminal justice. He previously was a teaching associate at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, lecturing courses on white-collar crime and critical issues in crime and justice.

Stallings spent two years working with RAND Corporation, a nonprofit think tank, and the Police Department in Roanoke, Virginia, to evaluate a drug market intervention program.

Stallings researched and volunteered in correctional institutions in Virginia and Pennsylvania. He also worked in high-crime communities, speaking with residents about their perceptions of crime and their relationship with law enforcement.

Stallings™ research interests include school shooting prevention, professional athletes™ criminality, the media influence on perceptions of crime, prisoner reentry and focused deterrence crime prevention strategies.
