Neil Underwood helped bring the Spirit of Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ Marching Band back from a 25-year hiatus to where it now fields more than 100 members and has been selected for national parades.

A grant funded repainting, adding ethernet drops for TVs and gaming systems, four 50-inch Roku TVs, two PlayStation 4s and two Xbox One gaming systems.

The residence hall has an updated outdoor patio area on the north side of the building to provide expanded lounge areas for students.

The National Council on Teacher Quality recognized Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ for its strong commitment to quality clinical practice experiences aimed at preparing aspiring teachers for the classroom.

Students can take as many as 12 graduate credit hours at the undergraduate rate that count toward both degrees and can shave a year off their time in graduate school.

In 10 years, Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ has gone from around 100 graduate students to more than 900. Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ has added graduate programs in leadership, teaching, sustainability studies, narrative health care, exercise science, public health and more numbering 25 total.

Through the high school scholar program, students can earn a year or more of college credits at Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ before enrolling in college.

Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ alumnus and former football player Bobby Jackson traveled the country performing random acts of kindness. He visited the lower 48 states in 45 days doing nice things for complete strangers.

The gym received a fresh coat of paint, new Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ branded pads under the main basketball hoops, a new wood playing surface, new basketball hoops for side courts and a retractable batting cage with protective turf.

Robinson will organize activities surrounding welcome week, homecoming, family week and more, as well as overseeing student organizations.

Ä¢¹½´«Ã½'s program was evaluated on standards of mission and governance, institutional commitment and resources, curriculum and teaching principals and program effectiveness.

Pope, an assistant professor, teaches studio art, art history, art theory and art activism in the 21st century, and her personal artwork has been featured throughout the United States and even internationally.
