To help get you started on the right path, click Step 1 - Start Here below to verify your account and begin the new student tasks you need to complete prior to your upcoming orientation session.

  • Step 1 - Start Here - Create Your Ģý Student Account

    Create your Ģý Student Account by visiting your and downloading your account letter. The account letter provides you with instructions on how to establish your Ģý Student Account and create a unique password. 

    Follow the Account Verification Instructions and utilize the link to your self-service account page to get started. You should log in for the first time using a computer or tablet instead of a mobile phone.

    1. Open a new browser and go to the Ģý website.
    2. Click the "Quick Links" link in the top left corner of the Ģý website, then click Students

    3. On the Students "Quick Links" page, click

    4. Enter your username and password then click the Sign In button

    5. You will now be on the Portal Home Page. 
  • Step 3 - Mathematics Placement Test

    The goal of the Math Placement Test is to help determine which mathematics course is most appropriate for you as you move forward with college coursework.

  • Step 4 - Send Final/Official Transcripts

    Enrolled students are required to submit final/official high school and college transcripts. Official college transcripts for courses taken during or after high school are required for transferable credit. College transcripts must be sent directly from the college or university to Ģý. Final/official high school and college transcripts can be sent electronically through the National Student Clearinghouse or Parchment, emailed to admission@lr.edu, delivered to the Office of Admission in a sealed and signed envelop, or mailed to the following address:

  • Step 5 - Prepare for Class Registration

    As you prepare for Orientation, please know that your first-semester course schedule will be thoughtfully created by an academic advisor based on the interests and information you provided in your interest form. Interest forms will be emailed to you from the Office of Admission a few weeks in advance of your orientation session. This process is designed to ensure you are enrolled in courses that align with your academic goals and set you up for a strong start. During Orientation, you will have the opportunity to meet with an advisor, review your schedule, ask questions, and make any necessary adjustments. Our goal is to make sure you feel confident and supported as you begin your college journey.
